The quote below has been in my head since hearing of the death of Kobe, his daughter, her teammate and her family. I think it beautiful that a man who loved a sport so much was able to inspire so many people in so many different fields. Learning of his death shocked me. It broke my heart for the world, myself but mostly his family. I was so sad for his wife and children who lost their husband/father. They woke up whole and happy and went to bed fractured. It’s scary how much can change in a day.
